Thai Ambassador presented the Letters of  Credence to the President of the Republic of Senegal

On 30 March 2015, H.E. Mr. Wijak Chittarat presented the Letters of Credence to

H.E. Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal accrediting him as

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand

to the Republic of Senegal.

On this auspicious occasion during the audience with H.E. the President of

the Republic of Senegal and in the presence of H.E. Mr. Mankeur NDIAYE,

Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Senegalese Abroad of Senegal,

H.E. the Ambassador has expressed his willingness to work closely with

the Senegalese authorities to further strengthen the happy relations and

bilateral ties between the two countries to promote economic cooperation,

to enhance development cooperation through Thailand’s expertise particularly

in agriculture and public health fields which are of Thailand’s expertise. H.E.

the Ambassador also mentioned about activities in the near future

which will be carried on in coordination with the Senegalese authorities to

celebrate the 35^th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations

between Thailand and Senegal in 2015.
