The Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar hosted a Reception to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej

On 3 December 2015, Mr. Wijak Chittarat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Senegal, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar hosted a reception to celebrate the 88th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador in Dakar. His Excellency Mr. Mbagnick NDIAYE, Minister of Culture and Communication representing the Government of Senegal to attend the Reception as Guest of Honour. The Reception was attended by approximately 250 guests including members of the diplomatic corps and international organizations in Senegal, high-ranking officials and representatives of the Senegalese Government, private sectors, and the Thai people with residence in Senegal.

During the Reception the Embassy organized, an informative exhibition paying tribute to His Majesty the King, together with the exhibition on Thai-Senegal Development cooperation projects in the field of Thailand’s expertise, and the promotion of tourism in Thailand which received great attention from the public.
