On 4 August 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar organized a ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and National Mother's Day on 12 August 2026 at the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar. H.E. Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Ambassador of Thailand to Senegal, presided over the ceremony and led embassy officials, their spouses, and staff in paying homage in front of the royal portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, laying wreaths, praying Buddhist scriptures and observing 93 seconds of meditation to dedicate merit and express their profound gratitude of Her Majesty's immeasurable benevolence.
