The Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar conducted a mobile medical unit project providing free health examination and consultations to Thai nationals in Burkina Faso, and visited the Honorary Consulate in Burkina Faso.

From 20-21 July 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar, by Mr. Jirattidol TANTIPAKDEE, Consul, traveled to Burkina Faso to conduct a mobile medical unit project providing free health examination and consultations to nine Thai nationals residing in Burkina Faso. The Royal Thai Embassy also visited and inquired about the well-being of Thai workers at their workplaces, including a Thai massage parlor and a Thai restaurant.

On this occasion, the Consul also visited the Honorary Consulate of Thailand in Burkina to inspect its office and operations as well as discuss with Mr. Mahamadi SAWADOGO, Honorary Consul of Thailand in Burkina regarding the protection and welfare of Thai nationals in Burkina Faso, particularly concerning employment, living conditions, and legal residency.
