On 21 October 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar held a ceremony at the the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar to commemorate Chulalongkorn Day, observed annually on 23 October in honour of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Senegal, and attended by officials and staff members of the Embassy. The ceremony included paying respects before the royal portrait of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn and laying a wreath in tribute to His Majesty, in remembrance of His Majesty’s gracious benevolence and invaluable contributions to the Kingdom of Thailand.
