On 15 October 2026, H.E. Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Senegal, led embassy officials, spouses, and staff in volunteer activities for the public service and charity at Ndiaye Diouf Health Center in Bargny on the occasion of Navamindra Maharaj Day on 13 October 2026 and the Anniversary of the Passing Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on 24 October 2026. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy handed over an electrocardiogram (ECG) machine to the health centre to support its medical services and enhance its capacity to diagnose patients in dedication to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

During the visit, the Ambassador-Designate met with Mr. Djibril FAYE, Mayor of Bargny; Ms. Aminata Gueye, Deputy Mayor responsible for public health; and Dr. Papa Maguette Fall, Chief Medical Officer. They exchanged views on ways to strengthen cooperation between the Royal Thai Embassy and the Municipality of Bargny to improve the quality of life of local residents, particularly in the areas of public health and food security, with a focus on pregnant women, young children, and persons with disabilities. Potential areas of cooperation discussed included free mobile medical services providing general health examinations and treatment; training and knowledge-sharing on childbirth and delivery techniques to reduce the risk of neonatal mortality; school breakfast programmes for young people; vaccination programmes; and vocational skills training for women.
