On 13 October 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar organized a ceremony on the occasion of the Memorial Day of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great at the Royal Thai Embassy. Mrs. Viphawan Benniman, Chargé d’ Affaires, led Embassy officials and Thai community in Senegal to attend a Buddhist chanting ceremony dedicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. The Chargé d’ Affaires also led the officials and the Thai community to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and to join in a candle-lit ceremony as well as to observe 89 seconds of silence to pay respect to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
