On 29 February 2020, H.E. Mr. Nipon Petchpornprapas, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Senegal, visited the mobile medical mission of the year 2020 in Thies. The Royal Thai Embassy, Dakar has implemented the project since 2005 in cooperation with Fann Hospital. The mission on Saturday, 29 February 2020 was led by Dr. Cire Ndiaye from Fann Hospital with specialists from various fields such as ENT, pediatric, urology, dermatology, orthopedic, and Gynecology and nurses around 15 people providing  free medical consultations for the Senegalese people living in Thies and neighboring areas. Besides, the Association and Bolo Liguey Mbour 1 Thies has assisted in arranging the venue and publicizing the mission.  On this occasion, Mr. Alioune Sow, Mayor of municipality West Thies also visited the mission and expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador as this project provided medical treatment to Senegalese people in remote areas. The Thai Ambassador agreed that the project benefit people directly and said the Royal Thai Embassy is ready to work with the Government of Senegal in strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries in all dimensions especially in health care, economics, and culture.
