On 23 July 2020, Mr. Nipon Petchpornprapas, Ambassador of Thailand, along with Embassy’s staff and their families organized a charity activity on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2020 at Empire des Enfants which is an emergency shelter for street children in Dakar, by providing lunch, medicine and sports equipment to the children at the Center.

Empire des Enfants, which was established in 2003, has taken care of about 250 – 300 children in vulnerable situation every year by providing them with accommodation, meals, and education. Currently, there are around 35 children aged from 6 – 15 years being looked after by the Center.
