The Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar wishes to notify  that  Thai authorities concerned have withdrawn the authorization of the Thai Honorary Consulate in Gambia in issuing all types of visas for entering Thailand effective from the date of 20  March 2006. Hence, all types of visas issued by the Thai  Honorary Consulate in Gambia from the said date are not valid. Foreigners with residence in Gambia and Gambian nationality shall apply for visas for entering Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar only. All Thai authorities concerned including the Immigration Bureau of Thailand  have been notified of this issue
