On 13 July 2023, H.E. Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja presented the Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Alassane OUATTARA, President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, at the Presidential Palace in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, accrediting her as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire with residence in Dakar.

On this occasion, President OUATTARA congratulated the Ambassador on her assumption of duty. He expressed his high appreciation to the cordial relations Thailand and Côte d’Ivoire have enjoyed and the potential areas of cooperation to forge ahead together.

Furthermore, both sides exchanged views on the overall bilateral relations between Thailand and Côte d'Ivoire, including promoting exchange of visits at all levels, and enhancing cooperation in the areas of economic, trade, and investment, as well as reiterating their commitment to enhance development cooperation, which Thailand has the expertise, that would support Côte d’Ivoire’s food security and self-sufficiency policy.

Towards the ending of the ceremony, Ambassador stated at the press conference at the Presidential Palace to reassure her determination to perform her duties as the Thai ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire to the fullest capacity to promote closer relations and collaboration between Thailand and Côte d'Ivoire for the mutual benefit of the two countries and the peoples.
