The Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar organized a mobile medical unit to provide free ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) examinations and treatments at Thierno Mansour Barro Hospital in Mbour, on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2026, and in remembrance of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2026, and in remembrance of the fiftieth day following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita, Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar, in collaboration with the ENT Clinic of Fann Hospital in Dakar, organized the mobile medical unit to provide free Ear-Nose-Throat examinations and treatments to the public at Thierno Mansour Barro Hospital in Mbour, a public hospital in Mbour, the region of Thiès, as part of the volunteer activities for public service and charity.

On this occasion, Her Excellency Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Senegal, along with embassy officials, spouses, and staff had a meeting with Dr. Therese Aida NDIAYE, the hospital director, and the medical team, discussing on the progress of the mobile medical unit project, which is being conducted for the ninth time this year, with the budgetary support from the Royal Thai Embassy.

The hospital director and the medical team expressed their deepest gratitude for the Royal Thai Embassy's support of the mobile medical unit project for over 20 years. The said project has continuously helped Senegalese people in remote areas receive treatment for ear, nose, and throat diseases without having to travel to the capital city of Dakar. The Embassy delegation also visited the mobile medical service and offered encouragement to patients receiving general ear, nose, and throat examinations and treatment.
