The Royal Thai Embassy, Dakar, in cooperation with C.P. Intertrade Co. Ltd. provided 7.5 tons of “Royal Umbrella” Thai rice and 1,500 masks to the Government of the Republic of Senegal. H.E. Mr. Nipon Petchpornprapas, Ambassador of Thailand to Senegal, presented the Thai rice amd face masks to H.E. Mr. Abdoulaye Diouf SARR, Minister of Health and Social Action of the Republic of Senegal on 16 June 2020. This support is to help Senegalese people affected by the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, it is a symbol of friendship and strong relations between the two countries as this year marks the 40^th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Senegal.
