Both sides also expressed their shared interest in establishing a sister-city partnership between Bargny and a province in Thailand to promote exchanges of knowledge, expertise, and best practices, particularly in climate adaptation and responses to environmental challenges.

• Bargny is a coastal city on the Atlantic Ocean, located in the Rufisque Department of the Dakar Region, approximately 34 kilometres southeast of Dakar.
