The Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar and the delegation led by the Special Envoy of the Thai Prime Minister met with the Thai community in the Republic of The Gambia
On 4 May 2024, during the 15th Islamic Summit Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ms. Pottanee Homjitt, Charge d'Affaires a.i., the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar (accrediting the Republic of The Gambia) led a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, with Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister and the Head of Delegation, along with Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to the OIC, as well as officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar, to meet with the Thai community in Banjul, Republic of The Gambia. The Thai community in Banjul shared their experience of the living and working conditions in The Gambia. The Embassy took this opportunity to inform of the communication channels with the Embassy for registering Thai people living abroad as well as for following the Embassy’s news update.
