On 10 September 2026, H.E. Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Senegal, led a delegation of seven medical doctors and executives from public hospitals in various parts of Senegal on a study visit to the National Blood Centre of the Thai Red Cross Society. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Pinit Kullavanijaya, Assistant Secretary-General of the Thai Red Cross Society, together with executives of the National Blood Centre. During the visit, the Senegalese delegation was briefed on the missions and operations of the National Blood Centre and had the opportunity to learn about the Thai Red Cross Society’s best practices in various areas, including medical and healthcare services and blood services. The visit also provided an opportunity for discussions on ways to further promote Thailand–Senegal cooperation in public health and medicine.
